Munster Name Squad For Edinburgh Encounter

Team captain Paul O’Connell, as well as out-half Ronan O’Gara and full-back Denis Hurley, are new inclusions in the Munster squad this week for Saturday’s Magners League tussle with Edinburgh (Musgrave Park, kick-off 7.30pm).

Munster’s full World Cup contingent are included in the 27-man squad for the game against Edinburgh, with O’Connell hoping to bounce back from the back strain which forced him to miss last week’s 11-11 draw with Glasgow Warriors at Firhill.

O’Gara, who has been nursing a knee injury since the World Cup’s pool stages, is in line to make his seasonal debut for the province, while young full-back Hurley, in recent weeks, has shown encouraging signs of his recovery from an ankle injury.
