Flavin To Captain Connacht

Adrian Flavin, one of three changes to the Connacht team, will skipper the side in their clash with Llanelli Scarlets at Stradey Park on Friday evening.

Connacht coach Michael Bradley has named his side to take on Llanelli Scarlets in the Magners League at Stradey Park on Friday evening.

There are three changes to the side which beat Newport Gwent Dragons last week at the Sportsground. David Gannon comes in for injured captain Andrew Farley in the second row.

Hooker Adrian Flavin will captain the side for the first time. In the back row, Colm Rigney is named at number eight, while Michael McCarthy is named at blindside flanker. John Muldoon and Ray Ofisa are the players to make way. Keith Matthews returns from a groin injury and is named among the replacements.
