Ulster Rugby Issue Update On Ireland v Italy Tickets

Ulster Rugby have today confirmed that the province’s Season Tickets holders will be able to purchase Promenade and Terrace tickets for August’s Ireland v Italy international at Ravenhill before they go on general sale.

Brian O’Driscoll’s Ireland side will take on Italy in Belfast on Friday, August 24 (kick-off 7.45pm) as part of their preparations for the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

It will be the first time since Feburary 1954 that a full international has been played at Ravenhill.

In a statement released today, Ulster Rugby confirmed that “Ulster Rugby Season Ticket holders will be given priority in purchasing Ireland v Italy tickets before they go on general sale.

“Season Ticket holders will be able to purchase these highly sought after tickets from Monday, July 2 and the remainder of the tickets will go on general sale from Monday, July 9.”

These tickets can be purchased from the Ravenhill counter from Monday to Friday (9am-5pm) or on the Ticket Line (tel: 02890493222 – option 2) between the hours of 10am and 12pm.

Please note that only Promenade and Terrace Tickets will be available and tickets are limited to TWO tickets per person. Ulster Rugby would like to stress that vigorous checks will be carried out to ensure that only 2007/08 Season Ticket holders are purchasing the priority tickets during the week commencing July 2.

TICKET PRICES:

Promenade – Stg£20 adults, £10 children
Terrace – Stg£15 adults, £8 children

NB: Ulster Rugby Season Ticket holders who are on holiday the week of July 2 can pre book their tickets by sending in a cheque made payable to IRFU Ulster Branch with a covering note to Rachel Spence. All tickets purchased this way will be posted recorded delivery at an extra cost of £1.50 so please state the date you return from holiday to ensure safe arrival of your tickets.

Should any tickets which have been distributed to Irish rugby clubs and the Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) be returned, they will be put up for sale on www.IrishRugby.ie. Keep checking the Tickets section of this site for further information.
