Munster led the scoring again in the second half with an O' Gara penalty goal after 42 minutes. Jim Williams prevented a Toulouse try minutes later before Baptiste got another penalty goal for the French side making it 6-12. The video ref was called into action when Garbajosa went over the line. No try was awarded, scrum Munster. Two minutes later, Toulouse player Michalak went over for a converted try, giving them a one point lead going into the final stages.
Munster threatened to pull back the point deficit through the seven minutes of injury time. Twice Man of the Match Ronan O' Gara had drop goal opportunities but they drifted left of the post and wide. The score stood, 13-12 in favour of the French players on the final whistle. They go on to play in the Heineken Cup Final on the 24th May in Lansdowne Road.
