Connacht Representatives
Gerry Casey
Gerry Casey is a member of Castlebar RFC and has played senior rugby with Castlebar, Westport and Ballina. He also represented and captained the Connacht Junior team during his playing career. Gerry has been actively involved in rugby governance and player development, serving as Chair of Connacht Age Grade Rugby from 2018 to 2021. Outside of rugby, Gerry is Chief Executive Officer of the Casey Retail Group. He was appointed to the IRFU Committee in 2021 and represents the Union on the Six Nations board.
Yvonne Comer
Yvonne Comer is proud member and former President of Galway Corinthians RFC, with a lifelong involvement in rugby as both a player and administrator. A former player herself, Yvonne brings valuable insight into the player pathway and the development of the women’s game, alongside a deep understanding of grassroots rugby. Yvonne is Chair of the Women's Rugby Committee and also sits on Commercial & Marketing.
Kevin Dinneen
Kevin played senior rugby for 15 years, lining out for Old Crescent, UCG, Lansdowne, Bective and Galwegians – where he was club captain in 1994/95. He was the Galwegians coach from 2001 to 2004. In that time he was also Coach of the Connacht U21s. From 2005 to 2010 he was a member of the Connacht Rugby coaching team. He served on the Connacht Professional Game Board from 2010 to 2019 and has served on the National Professional Game Board since then and was appointed Chair in 2024. Kevin is also the current Chair of Third Level Rugby and Chair of the IRFU Appeals Board. Kevin served as an Officer in the Defence Forces for 25 years attaining the rank of Commandant before retiring in 2005. He has practised as a Barrister since then.
Josephine Feehily
Josephine Feehily is a member of Ballinasloe RFC who brings extensive expertise in leadership, accountability and organisational oversight to Irish Rugby. Josephine has held a number of senior leadership roles throughout her career. She currently serves as Chair of the Governing Body of Technological University of the Shannon and as a Non-Executive Director. Her previous appointments include Chair of the Revenue Commissioners and Chair of the Policing Authority, where she played key roles in strengthening governance and public sector accountability. She was appointed to the IRFU Committee in 2023.
