Ireland internationals Garry Ringrose and CJ Stander have both made the five-man shortlist for the 2017 EPCR European Player of the Year award.
We are now one step closer to knowing who will be the EPCR European Player of the Year. The votes have been counted and list of 15 initial nominees has now been reduced to just five – Saracens duo Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje, Clermont Auvergne’s Camille Lopez, Leinster’s classy young centre Garry Ringrose and Munster’s talismanic number 8 CJ Stander.
It’s now your turn to get involved and vote for your favourite. It won’t be easy, as all five have had exceptional seasons in European competition but make sure you study the stats, watch the matches and the videos and make your choice.
By making your choice, you will also be in with a chance of winning some outstanding rugby prizes, including two return tickets offered by Turkish Airlines up to 1500 euros in value. Good luck!
The winner of the EPCR European Player of the Year will be presented with one million air miles courtesy of tournament partners Turkish Airlines at the European Champions Cup final at BT Murrayfield on Saturday, May 13. With voting closing just 15 minutes before the actual presentation!
