‘Give It A Try’ – At A Club Near You This Summer

The Women’s Rugby World Cup is just around the corner. What better time for your daughter to take up a new sport and have fun this summer. All she has to do is ‘Give It A Try’.

This August you have the chance to see the best Women’s players in the world in action in Dublin and Belfast. In the lead up to the tournament, your daughter can get a taste of rugby at one of our ‘Give It A Try’ clubs around Ireland.

The six-week programme is aimed at girls aged 9-15 and it’s a fun packed way to learn new skills, stay fit and get an introduction to rugby from Tag and Touch right up to full contact.

The course costs just £8 or 10 euro and includes a free ‘Give It A Try’ T-shirt.

‘Give It A Try’ is an IRFU initiative that forms part of the Women’s Rugby World Cup Impact Beyond programme to encourage more girls to get involved and get active in rugby.

Check out the list of venues hosting ‘Give It A Try’ already this summer and keep an eye out for more clubs in your area:
