Women & Girls Rugby Strategy Update and Stakeholder Engagement Sessions

As the IRFU Women & Girls Rugby Strategy enters its second year, members of the rugby community are invited to take part in a series of online stakeholder engagement sessions hosted by IRFU Head of Women's Strategy, Lynne Cantwell.

The sessions will provide an update on the progress made during the first year of the strategy, highlight key developments across the women and girls game, and offer stakeholders an opportunity to share feedback and ideas that can help shape future priorities.

Women and girls rugby continues to experience significant growth across all levels of the game. Listening to and engaging with those involved remains a central part of delivering on the ambitions of the strategy, and the IRFU is encouraging participation from across the rugby community, including clubs, schools, universities, provincial organisations, players, volunteers and staff.

To facilitate as many people as possible, two online sessions have been scheduled at different times of the day:

Each session will include:

  • An update on progress made during Year One of the Women & Girls Rugby Strategy
  • Key developments across participation, pathways, performance, competitions and leadership
  • An opportunity for questions and discussion
  • Stakeholder feedback to help inform future planning and priorities
