Vodafone Ireland, in partnership with the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU), today announced that it has become the main sponsor of the Ireland Women's Rugby Team.
For the first time, Vodafone will feature on the front of the Ireland Women’s jersey, marking a new chapter in the company’s longstanding support of Irish Rugby.
The agreement, which commenced in July 2026, will run until 2028 and represents a significant investment in the future of the women’s game.
The Vodafone logo will feature on the front of the Ireland Women's jersey for the first time when Scott Bemand's side get their 2026/27 campaign underway against USA in the WXV Global Series at Tallaght Stadium on Sunday, 20 September.
Ireland then go head to head with Japan in back-to-back Tests at Dexcom Stadium in Galway on Sunday, 27 September and at Virgin Media Park in Cork on Saturday, 3 October, before travelling to Cape Town to face South Africa at the end of October.

Today's sponsorship announcement builds on Vodafone’s support for women’s rugby in Ireland spanning almost a decade, from backing the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Dublin and Belfast in 2017 to sponsoring the Women’s Interprovincial Championship since 2021 and featuring on the back of the Ireland Women’s jersey since 2024.
It also builds on Vodafone’s decade-long partnership with Irish Rugby as main sponsor of the Ireland’s Men’s Team since 2016.

A record crowd of more than 30,000 supporters attended Ireland's Guinness Women's Six Nations match against Scotland at Aviva Stadium earlier this year, highlighting the growing popularity and momentum behind the women's game.
Partnering with the IRFU, Vodafone's support and investment aim to build on this progress by supporting players, inspiring future generations and creating new opportunities for fans to connect with the team.
