Eduardo Bello has been capped 26 times by Argentina, and has played in the Rugby Championship and Rugby World Cup for his country.
He joins Ulster Rugby after a stint at Gallagher Premiership club Newcastle Red Bulls, where an ACL injury sustained on international duty during the 2024 Rugby Championship curtailed his playing time.
The 30-year-old tighthead from Córdoba has also played for Saracens, winning a Premiership title in 2023, and previously enjoyed a successful five-year spell with Zebre Parma.
A strong scrummager, 'Lolo' brings a wealth of experience to a young group of props at Ulster Rugby.
Ulster's General Manager, Rory Best, commented: "We are delighted to be bringing in someone of Eduardo's top-level international experience, quality, and profile into the squad this summer.
"A key focus of our recruitment for next season has been to target adding more leadership and physicality to our forward pack, and he will be an exciting addition to our squad.
"Eduardo brings a winning mentality, with a drive to get back into the international set-up with Argentina, and I know that he is eager to get going.
"We have a number of young props coming through the system who will benefit from training and competing against him in training."
Bello stated: "I am very happy to be signing for one of the most exciting sides in European Rugby, and feel very grateful for the opportunity.
"It is a very talented young team, and I enjoyed watching their performances last season across the URC and the Challenge Cup.
"From a personal point of view, I'm very motivated to show what I can bring to this team, and I'm very excited to experience a new adventure for me and my family.
"To the Ulster supporters, I can't wait to play in an Ulster jersey and experience the famous home support at Affidea Stadium."
Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that back rower Lorcan McLoughlin, who made five senior appearances for Ulster, will depart the province upon the expiry of his contract this summer.
The 24-year-old joined Ulster's Academy squad in 2022, after being identified through the IRFU's IQ Rugby programme.
A former Under-20 Grand Slam winner under Richie Murphy, he made his senior debut for Ulster against the Lions in Belfast in November 2023.
