Sidelines to Trylines kicks off this weekend in rugby clubs around the country. This is a new participation programme designed to give women the opportunity to become active participants in the game, regardless of their sporting background, fitness level or previous rugby experience.
Sidelines to Trylines developed in conjunction with the Ireland Touch Association, this new programme creates a flexible, social and beginner-friendly environment where women can get involved, have fun and discover a new way to enjoy rugby.

Sidelines to Trylines aims to break down some of the barriers that can prevent women from taking part in physical activity, welcoming women who may already be part of the rugby community as spectators, volunteers, coaches or parents. Whether you’re completely new to rugby or simply looking for a fun and social way to get active, there’s a place for you.
