The Canterbury Give it a Try programme has once again welcomed thousands of girls to rugby clubs across Ireland, with 1,753 participants taking part this summer at 76 clubs nationwide.
Now in its ninth year, the initiative has introduced more than 12,000 girls to rugby since it launched in 2017, continuing to play an important role in growing the girls' game at grassroots level.
Aimed at girls aged 8 to 14, the eight-week programme takes place during April, May and June, providing a fun, supportive environment where participants can learn the basics of rugby, build confidence and make new friends.
