Meanwhile, Paddy Patterson scored five tries in 51 appearances for Munster since joining from the Leinster Academy in January 2021.
He played a major role in the BKT United Rugby Championship title-winning 2022/23 season, with his 14 appearances including five tries and a player-of-the-match display against South Africa 'A'.
The scrum half made 25 appearances over the past two seasons, including earning his 50th Munster cap against Zebre Parma in February.
Andrew Smith scored four tries in 11 appearances for Munster after joining from Connacht in March 2025.
The former Ireland Sevens international made an immediate impact after arriving last season, scoring three tries in four outings.
He was a try scorer in the Champions Cup round of 16 win over La Rochelle and dotted down twice away to Bordeaux-Bègles in the quarter-final defeat a week later.

He helped the Ireland U-20s to a Grand Slam in 2022 and has lined out for Shannon and Nenagh Ormond in the All-Ireland League over the past four years.
Bantry Bay RFC and Colaiste Pobail Bheanntraí out-half Hicks was involved with the Ireland U-20s during the 2024/25 campaign.
He has played All-Ireland League rugby with Garryowen and Cork Constitution over the past three years.
