Leinster Set Up Home Semi-Final Against Stormers

Leinster's reward for tonight's 59-10 win over the Fidelity SecureDrive Lions is a home semi-final against the DHL Stormers, the highest ranked of the South African teams.

The BKT United Rugby Championship semi-finals will take place next Saturday in Edinburgh and Dublin as teams from Ireland, Scotland, and South Africa compete to reach the 2026 final.

Having won their quarter-finals, table toppers Glasgow Warriors, defending champions Leinster, and the DHL Stormers and Vodacom Bulls - the respective third and fourth place finishers in the table - have all made it through to the last-four.

Semi-final 1 will take place in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh (kick-off 2.30pm) where Glasgow host the Bulls, last year's runners-up, at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

This is the first meeting of the teams in the knockout stages since the Scottish side claimed a famous final victory over the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld two years ago.

Semi-final 2 will take place at 5.30pm as two-in-a-row hopefuls Leinster, in the league play-offs for an 11th successive season, welcome the Stormers to the Aviva Stadium.

The Cape Town-based outfit famously lifted the URC trophy in 2022, and this is their first appearance in the semi-finals in three years.

The kick-off times allow for the possibility of semi-final 1 relying upon extra-time or a place-kicking competition to decide the outcome.

Both games will be live across the UK on Premier Sports, and in South Africa on SuperSport.

In Ireland, TG4 will broadcast the semi-final between Leinster and the DHL Stormers, with Premier Sports also showing the Dublin clash, and Glasgow's encounter with the Bulls.

Match official appointments and an update on potential final venues will be confirmed in due course.
