The Ireland Women’s Sevens squad has been named for this weekend’s Rugby Europe Women’s Championship Series in Split.
James Topping’s side finished sixth in the opening leg in Hamburg earlier this month and return to action for the Split 7s at Stadion Park Mladeži.
Olympians Stacey Flood, Emily Lane and Eve Higgins are named in the 13-player squad for this weekend, while Robyn O’Connor is also included having recently starred for Ireland in the Guinness Women’s Six Nations.
Ireland open their Pool campaign on Friday against Czechia (10.28am Irish time/11.28am local time), before going head-to-head with Turkey later on the opening day (5.28pm Irish time/6.28pm local time).
Topping’s side conclude the Pool stages against France on Saturday morning (10.50am Irish time/11.50am local time), with all the action live on RugbyEurope TV here.
