Ireland Suffer Second Defeat In Junior World Championship

The Ireland Men's U20s, sponsored by PwC, suffered a second defeat in the Junior World Championship earlier today losing 62-40 to Argentina.

The result effectively ends Ireland's hopes of making the cup semi-finals.

Argentina overpowered Ireland in the first half with four converted tries and and a penalty giving them a 31-7 lead. Ireland's try came from Rian Handley.

Ireland worked hard in the second half scoring five tries but it wasn't enough as the junior Pumas continued to add to their tally.
