Ireland will return to Aviva Stadium for a mouthwatering Guinness Women’s Six Nations clash against England next May, while Dexcom Stadium in Galway will once again host Scott Bemand’s side in the 2027 Championship.

Ireland will open their 2027 Championship against Scotland away at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Saturday, 10 April (Kick-off 5pm), before returning home to Galway to go head-to-head with France at Dexcom Stadium on Saturday, 17 April (Kick-off 2.30pm).
The Home of Connacht Rugby, which last weekend hosted Ireland’s Vodafone Ireland WXV Series win over Japan, will once again stage Guinness Women’s Six Nations action in 2027 for a pivotal Round 2 showdown.
Bemand’s side will then travel to Wales in Round 3 before welcoming England, the reigning champions, to Aviva Stadium on Saturday, 8 May (Kick-off 2.45pm), as Erin King and her team once again take centre stage at the Home of Irish Rugby.
The announcement marks another significant milestone in the continued growth of the women’s game in Ireland, building on the momentum generated by last season’s record-breaking attendance and memorable atmosphere at Aviva Stadium, as 31,294 watched Ireland’s emphatic 54-5 win over Scotland.
Ireland’s historic Guinness Women’s Six Nations debut at Aviva Stadium showcased the increasing support behind Bemand’s side and bringing the team back to the Home of Irish Rugby in 2027 is a hugely important step in further building that connection between the players and our Green Wave, while inspiring the next generation of players and supporters.
A trip to Italy in Round 5 will conclude Ireland’s 2027 Championship.
On today’s announcement, Ireland captain King commented “Playing at Aviva Stadium last season was an incredible and landmark experience for the group and we’re really excited to be returning to the Home of Irish Rugby in 2027.
“To have that record-breaking crowd behind us and feel the support from the moment we ran out was really special and we want to continue building that connection with our supporters and bring more people, young and old, into our Green Wave.
“We’re also looking forward to bringing international rugby back to Dexcom Stadium and Galway, where we enjoyed brilliant support in last season’s Guinness Women’s Six Nations.
“These are the occasions you want to be involved in as a player and with two big home matches against France and England coming up in 2027, there is huge motivation for us as a group to produce the occasions and performances that will inspire and excite our Green Wave.”
