Now firmly established as a key fixture in the domestic rugby calendar, the Vodafone Women's Interprovincial Championship continues to showcase the highest standard of provincial rugby while providing an important pathway for players to progress to the international game.
With another exciting campaign on the horizon, anticipation is high ahead of the opening round of fixtures this August.
The IRFU is pleased to confirm that supporters will once again be able to follow all the action live on the Spórt TG4 YouTube channel, with TG4 returning as the Championship's broadcast partner.
The 2026 Championship gets underway on Saturday, August 8, as reigning champions Munster welcome Leinster to Virgin Media Park (kick-off 2.30pm), while Ulster host Connacht at Affidea Stadium later that afternoon (kick-off 4.15pm).
Round 2 takes place on Saturday, August 15, with Munster taking on Ulster at Virgin Media Park (kick-off 2.30pm) before Leinster face Connacht at home, at Energia Park (kick-off 4.30pm).
The penultimate round follows on Saturday, August 22, when Ulster welcome Leinster to Affidea Stadium (kick-off 2.30pm), while Connacht host Munster at Dexcom Stadium in Galway (kick-off 4.15pm).
The Championship concludes on Saturday, August 29, with Finals Day at Dexcom Stadium, where both the third-place play-off and the 2026 Vodafone Women's Interprovincial Championship Final will decide the finishing positions and this season's champions.
Representing the four provinces at the official launch were Aoibheann Reilly (Connacht), Sarah Delaney (Leinster), Maeve Óg O'Leary (Munster) and India Daley (Ulster). They were joined by IRFU Vice President, Tony O'Beirne and Vodafone Ireland Head of Brand, Orla Nagle, to mark the beginning of another exciting Championship.
