The Energia All-Ireland League returns this weekend with Round 3 of the Men’s Divisions, while the Women’s Divisions get their 2026/27 campaigns underway with an eagerly anticipated opening round.

 

Men’s Division 1A

 

Table toppers Old Belvedere travel to the Aviva Stadium for a Dublin derby against eighth placed Lansdowne as they look to maintain their strong start to the campaign.

 

There is plenty of capital rivalry elsewhere, with fourth placed Clontarf hosting second placed UCD at Castle Avenue, while fifth placed Terenure College take on sixth placed Old Wesley at Lakelands.

 

Third placed St Mary’s College make the trip south to face ninth placed Cork Constitution, while seventh placed Young Munster welcome bottom of the table Ballynahinch.

Women’s Division 1A

 

The Women’s Division gets underway this weekend, with Old Belvedere and Galwegians kicking off the action in Ollie Campbell Park.

 

Railway Union and UL Bohemian renew their rivalry at Park Avenue in one of the standout fixtures of the opening round, while Blackrock College welcome Wicklow to Stradbrook for a Leinster derby.

Men’s Division 1B


Division 1B leaders Nenagh Ormond will aim to maintain their early momentum when they welcome bottom of the table Instonians to New Ormond Park.
 

Second placed Blackrock College travel to fourth placed Naas for an intriguing Leinster derby, while third placed Dublin University are on the road against fifth placed Highfield.


Elsewhere, sixth placed City of Armagh welcome UCC to the Palace Grounds, with seventh placed MU Barnhall hosting eighth placed Garryowen.

Women’s Division 1B

 

The new season also gets underway in Women’s Division 1B, with Cooke welcoming Ennis to Shaw’s Bridge in the opening round.

 

There will be a sense of occasion at Parsonstown as divisional debutants MU Barnhall begin their campaign at home to Ballincollig, while fellow newcomers Enniskillen also start on home soil, welcoming Tullow.

Men’s Division 2A

 

Division 2A leaders Cashel will aim to preserve their unbeaten start when they host ninth placed Galwegians.

 

One of the division’s standout contests sees second placed Galway Corinthians welcome third placed Dungannon in an absorbing early season clash, while fourth placed Ballymena host fifth placed Queen’s University in an all Ulster encounter at Eaton Park.

 

Sixth placed Shannon welcome seventh placed Wanderers to Shannonside, while eighth placed UL Bohemian make the trip to face bottom of the table Greystones.

Table toppers Clogher Valley will look to continue their impressive start when they take on sixth placed Banbridge in an Ulster derby.

 

Second placed Malone and fourth placed Skerries will both be aiming to preserve their unbeaten starts when they meet, while third placed Ballyclare host bottom side Malahide.

 

Fifth placed Enniskillen welcome ninth placed Navan, with eighth placed Sligo hosting seventh placed Rainey in another closely matched contest.
