An extended squad have begun training at Munster Rugby's High Performance Centre, with Matt Brown taking on the role of head coach once again after last season's title success.
Brown began his coaching career in Munster as a CCRO (Club Community Rugby Officer), and is now a pathway development coach for the province.
Outside of Munster he has previously coached at Galwegians, Clanwilliam, Railway Union, Old Wesley, Old Crescent, and Shannon, along with a number of Munster's age-grade teams.
Speaking about continuing as Munster Women's head coach, Brown said: "I am really looking forward to stepping back into the head coach role once again this season.
"We had great success last season and hope to emulate that once again going into this year's Championship.
"Our coaching team is strong this year, especially with the additions of Chloe Pearse and Nicole Cronin. They will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the group, and we are so happy to have them on board with us.
"We're in a really exciting time for Women's rugby in Ireland, especially after a fantastic Six Nations, so we really hope to see the crowds come and support the girls throughout August."
Joining Brown will be Niamh Briggs who resumes her role as assistant coach.
Briggs has plenty of coaching knowledge from her years involved in Munster and is the current Women's provincial talent coach. Most recently she coached the Ireland Under-21s to three wins out of three in their inaugural Six Nations Series.
Eddie Fraher will also continue as forwards coach. He is the current director of rugby in Thomond RFC and played a role in leading their Men's team back to the Eneriga All-Ireland League.
Fraher has also spent time as director of Women's rugby in Shannon RFC.
Meanwhile, Cronin and Pearse will be joining the province's coaching set-up for this season as skills coaches. The duo will bring a wealth of experience from their time in the Munster and Ireland ranks.
Maeve Keogh and Robert Sheehan make up the physio team, while Kenneth Mills will be on hand as strength & conditioning coach. Carol O'Sullivan will continue as team manager.
Munster will kick off their title defence against arch rivals Leinster at Virgin Media Park on Saturday, August 8. Ticket details will be announced in due course.
Brown's charges will also have a home clash with Ulster before two trips to Connacht, the latter one for the Championship's finals day at Dexcom Stadium on Saturday, August 29.
