For supporters attending Friday night’s 1888 Cup clash between the British & Irish Lions and Argentina, we are looking forward to welcoming you to Aviva Stadium. This fixture is completely sold out so please allow enough time to get to the stadium and make note of some key timings and information below.

Key Timings:

13:00 – Lions Store on Lansdowne Road opens
18:00 – Gates Open
18:30 – Lions Team Arrival
19:00 – Lions Warm-Up

Matchday supports:

To enhance your experience, we want to highlight some available matchday supports:
1. Lifts are available for ease of access throughout the stadium. Please be advised that wait times may vary, and stadium staff will do their best to assist you.
2. The IRFU is partnered with Hidden Disabilities Ireland, and lanyards are available from IRFU Accessibility Team or please ask a steward. For more information on the initiative , please click here.
3. The Aviva Stadium features a permanent sensory room (close to block 105) and an additional portable sensory room on level 4. If you require access, please contact a steward for assistance.
4. The IRFU, in partnership with Aviva Stadium, has implemented specific disability awareness training for all staff and stewards, and a new Accessibility Support Team will be present at all fixtures to assist you.

Mobile Tickets:

We are now using SafeTix for all our home games, meaning you will need to have a mobile phone with the ticket(s) saved in your Apple or Google Wallet or accessible via IRFU Account Manager.

With SafeTix™ Your Phone Is Your Ticket

• Sign into your IRFU Ticketmaster Account 
• Go to My Events and select your event
• Add your ticket(s) to your phone’s digital wallet. Tap to enter is available with Apple Wallet & Google Pay. Note, barcodes will not be visible once the ticket(s) is added to your Apple Wallet.
• On Match Day, to access the Stadium simply scan your ticket by holding the back of your smartphone near the NFC reader at the turnstile or scan the rotating barcode (if you have accessed your ticket via Account Manager) at the scanner. It really is that simple!
• If you are unable to “Add to Wallet” or your pass is disabled – Don’t worry, you can still scan the rotating\animated barcode within your IRFU Account Manager at the venue but please remember, screenshots will not get you in.
• If patrons have multiple tickets on their account, it is crucial they transfer tickets to others using the transfer ticket functionality within their Ticketmaster Account Manager
• Never add a ticket to another apple ID wallet by allowing a different user to use your account details (username and password) to download a ticket to a different wallet.
