#EnergiaAILTry Of The Month Shortlists Announced For October

The winners of the 2021/22 Energia AIL Awards have been announced.

The Energia All-Ireland League Try Of The Month competition has opened with a bang for the 2019/20 season with some cracking entries across the Men’s and Women’s leagues.

Six of the eight Women’s clubs are represented while there are a record-equalling nine entries on the men’s side of the competition.

Cal Goddard – Wanderers v SLIGO
Andrew Magrath – RAINEY Old Boys v Buccaneers
James McKeown – OLD BELVEDERE v Navan
Neal Moylett – LANSDOWNE v Cork Constitution
James O’Donovan – OLD WESLEY v St. Mary’s College
James Te Pairi – BRUFF v Enniscorthy

Holly Brannigan – MALONE v Railway Union
Jenni Burke – BLACKROCK COLLEGE v Galwegians
Eliza Downey – Blackrock College v COOKE
Ailsa Hughes – Suttonians v RAILWAY UNION
Alison Miller – OLD BELVEDERE v Suttonians
Laura O’Mahony – Galwegians v UL BOHEMIAN

The winner of each competition will be selected by a management member from Ireland’s senior Men’s and Women’s squads and will be announced next week.

€250 goes to both winners every month, with thanks to Energia – the official energy partner to Irish Rugby. The winning tries are then eligible to win the Try of The Season award.
