Foley Praises Fans As Munster Seek Thomond Advantage
Head coach Anthony Foley has praised the Munster supporters and called on them to give the team the Thomond factor in their GUINNESS PRO12 semi-final against the Ospreys.
Munster host the Ospreys in the second of the GUINNESS PRO12 semi-finals at Thomond Park on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 2.30pm).
As he previewed the play-off game, the province’s head coach Anthony Foley spoke about the incredible support the team gets and called on fans to give his squad the Thomond Park factor.
“We’ve worked damn hard to get a semi-final at home. We’ve had great support along the way, but we can take nothing for granted against the Ospreys. They will be a serious threat to our ambitions and we need our fans to turn out in force next weekend,” he said.
“There’s no question that our players feed off a strong Thomond Park crowd and it’s important we have it on Saturday.”
