Ireland U-20 Squad Named For Junior World Championship

The Ireland Under- 20 squad (sponsored by PwC) has been named by head coach Mike Ruddock for this year’s IRB Junior World Championship which will take place in Italy in June.

Mike Ruddock will bring an experienced squad with him to Italy. The selected panel includes eight players who were involved in last year’s IRB Junior World Championship, including captain Niall Annett.

Only two of the chosen players were not involved in this year’s RBS Under-20 6 Nations Championship – they are Dominic Gallagher and Kieran Marmion.

Ireland are in Pool C with England, Scotland and South Africa and open the tournament against current Six Nations champions England in Treviso on Friday, June 10.
