The University of Ulster will award this scholarship to a player currently playing at a high level who resides outside of Northern Ireland but is Irish-qualified.

The candidate must have the relevant academic qualifications to gain entry to a post-graduate Diploma/Masters programme offered by the University on the Coleraine campus, and commit themselves to playing for a successful and ambitious UUCRFC at Ulster Qualifying League and Irish Colleges level.
The scholarship offers:
- Entry to a post-graduate course of your choice at the Coleraine Campus
- The payment of tuition fees
- Accommodation costs in a 'rugby' house from September to June
