Ireland Name Squad for RBS Six Nations

Irish centre Gordon D’Arcy has been named by Irish coach Eddie O’Sullivan as part of a 35-strong squad for the 2005 RBS Six Nations tournament. Click here for more details.

Irish centre Gordon D’Arcy has made a welcome return to the Irish national squad following his injury-enforced absence from the autumn internationals, in a 35-strong squad
named by the Irish management.

D’Arcy is joined in the squad by two newcomers – in the shape of the uncapped Ulster duo Kieran Campbell and Ronan McCormack.

In the forwards, Alan Quinlan’s good form has seen him named along with young uncapped Ulster number 8 Roger Wilson in the highly competitive back row area, where Irish coach Eddie O’Sullivan has named seven players.

In the front row, five props and three hookers will be attending the camp in Dublin, with Connacht hooker Bernard Jackman and Ulster prop McCormack the other uncapped players.

Munster back Shaun Payne also joins Ulster scrum half Campbell as the other uncapped player in the backs.
