Performance Manager - Age Grade Rugby
The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) is currently accepting applications for the position of Performance Manager - Age Grade rugby, who will be required to design, develop and implement plans, procedures, strategies and systems to ensure Ireland excels at Age Grade rugby levels, ie under 18 Youths / under 18 Schools / under 19 Rugby World Cup / under 21 6 Nations and Rugby World Cup. This important position will be a key driving force within the sub-professional level and the principle interface between the rugby department and the National Age Grade rugby pathway and structures.
His / Her responsibilities will include;
- Planning, organising and implementing a high-performance rugby pathway, process and system for National Age Grade rugby teams - Providing leadership, direction and technical expertise in the implementation of an Age-Grade rugby plan, designed in line with supporting sub-professional rugby pathways and systems
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years experience in this area - The ability to achieve objectives and goals for National Age Grade rugby as detailed in the IRFU Strategic Plan - The technical expertise required to assist coaches and team management of National Age Grade rugby teams - Strong reporting and management skills - A positive impact on sub-professional rugby systems within the provincial and national structures
