Ireland Women’s Sevens Team Reach Last-Eight At Kitakyushu 7s

A 31-10 first round victory over Fiji was the highlight of the Ireland Women’s Sevens team’s Pool C campaign overnight in Kitakyushu, Japan. Their narrow defeat to the third-ranked USA secured their Cup quarter-final place and a clash with European rivals France tomorrow (kick-off 11.36am local time/3.36am Irish time).
