The build up to Asia’s first Rugby World Cup took another exciting step on Friday as Ireland’s official Team Welcome Ceremony took place in Chiba City a week ahead of the tournament kick-off on 20 September.
Rory Best and the Ireland Squad were welcomed to Japan and presented with their Rugby World Cup Cap and medal of participation.
The Ireland captain presented a signed Ireland jersey to the Mayor of Chiba, Joji Koide, as a token of gratitude for the wonderful hospitality.
