Monaco 7s Olympic Qualifier Live

Ireland Men’s Sevens’ bid to make history and qualify for a first-ever Olympic Games comes down to a 14-minute showdown against France in Monaco.

With the outright winner of the tournament booking a ticket to Tokyo, Anthony Eddy‘s side face Les Bleus in this evening’s Monaco 7s final after an impressive semi-final defeat of Hong Kong.

Earlier in the day Ireland topped their Pool courtesy of a 21-7 victory over Samoa that included an incredible out the back off load from Terry Kennedy to put Jordan Conroy away in the corner.

The final kicks off at 7.07pm local time/6.07pm Irish time.
