Fixtures Confirmed For Women’s Interprovincial Finals

The kick-off times have been confirmed for next Saturday’s Senior and Under-18 finals in the IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship.

MU Barnhall RFC will host the U-18 finals again with the 3rd-4th place play-off between Leinster and last season’s winners Connacht at 1pm. Munster, who got the better of table toppers Leinster last Saturday, and Ulster will contest the U-18 Championship decider at 2.45pm.

The action then switches to Energia Park where Munster, who were edged out by Connacht in an epic semi-final clash, and Ulster play off for third place in the senior competition at 5pm.

At 7pm defending champions Leinster, who are unbeaten so far this season, will play Connacht for the IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship title. The much-anticipated final will be streamed live on Irish Rugby’s YouTube and Facebook channels.

Admission to both venues on Saturday will be free.

In Brian McClearn’s first season at the helm, Connacht gave themselves a chance of lifting the Perpetual Trophy for the first time with a thrilling 20-17 semi-final win over Munster. Below are all the tries scored in the game, including Beibhinn Parsons’ hat-trick:
