‘We’ve Picked 31 Players That Can Do A Job’ – Murphy

Ireland Skills Coach Richie Murphy was on media duty today and expressed his confidence in the squad to deal with injuries as they move through the tournament.

Asked about what happens if Rob Kearney is unavailable for Sunday he said,

We’ve picked 31 players that all can do a job for us, so if for instance Rob wasn’t there we’d be very happy with Jordan Larmour. He’s got a lot of big game experience. Bomber (Andrew Conway) has played there as well. So if it is a case that Rob is not there we’d be very happy with the guys.
