Having gone 13-0 down, Garryowen almost pulled off a terrific comeback win in Friday’s All-Ireland League opener against Young Munster. Speaking after his side’s 20-14 defeat, Garryowen captain Conan Doyle said: “To come back and then go ahead showed great spirit. i thought we could build from there but it’s just disappointing that we couldn’t finish it off.”
