Ruddock Pleased With Performance And Result

Speaking after his side’s 23-19 victory over IRB Junior World Championship hosts South Africa, Ireland Under-20 head coach Mike Ruddock said: “It was a great performance by the team, we knew what we had to do. We knew we had to defend very strongly, make our tackles count and pressurise their ruck. Our plan worked like a dream, our set piece pressure and passing was good too.”
