Railway’s Keohane Wins #AILWomensTry Of The Month For November

The #AILWomensTry of the Month winner for November is Railway Union half-back Claire Keohane. The talented out-half saw off some stiff competition with a superb solo effort in a home win over Blackrock.

Ireland Sevens international Claire Keohane will receive a cheque for €;250 and the try is automatically shortlisted for the #AILWomensTry of the Season award.

The Cork woman received the ball outside the 10-metre line off a scrum before kicking over the top, fending off two tackles and finishing behind the posts. Railway won the game 24-15 and are the current leaders of the Women’s All-Ireland League with five wins out of six.

Nominations for the December #AILTry of the Month remain open. Tries posted on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the #AILTry hashtag are eligible for shortlisting.
