Commenting on his try-scoring return for Munster in the 17-13 loss to Leicester Tigers, fit-again back rower Denis Leamy said: “There were a lot of mistakes but you’ll have that in pre-season friendlies. From where we’re coming from – we’ve guys coming back from injuries, a few younger lads getting experience – it was good, it was positive. To finish within four points of a very strong Leicester side wasn’t a bad evening’s work.”
