Matfield: We Will Be Ready

South Africa tour captain Victor Matfield says his side will be ready to give it their all against Ireland on Saturday, despite their short lead-in to the game. The big lock said: “We had the same last year. It (the tight turnaround) is tough. But the moment you pull on that Springbok jersey, you need to be 100% focused on the job at hand. I believe the guys will be ready. We had a good three days in South Africa training very hard, and we’re happy with the Captain’s Run today.”
