Kearney Reflects On ‘A Ferocious Battle’

Giving his reaction after Ireland’s agonising 22-19 defeat to the All Blacks, full-back Rob Kearney said: “It was a real ferocious battle. Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought we were on top of them for the second half. That scrum where we got a penalty against us, that could have gone either way. All credit to them though for coming back up the field and getting the drop goal.”
