An event to commemorate rugby players who lost their lives in World War I was hosted by Lansdowne FC. Marking the centenary of Armistice Day, clubs from across Leinster were in attendance to honour those who fought and died. The theme of the evening was ‘Remembering the Irish Rugby War Dead’.
