Ireland Squad Touches Down In Tokyo

Ireland’s Rugby World Cup squad arrived in Tokyo today having flown on Aer Lingus’ ‘Green Spirit’ plane to London and then on to Haneda International Airport.

The players will take a day or two to recover from the flight with sleep and recovery protocols in place to minimise the impact of jet lag.

The official Welcome Ceremony takes place in Chiba city on Friday – watch out for exclusive footage from there and throughout the tournament on Irish Rugby TV.
