A delighted Tadhg Beirne spoke to Irish Rugby TV after winning his first cap in front of an incredible crowd at AAMI Park in Melbourne, as Ireland levelled the series with Australia thanks to a 26-21 victory.
“It was something special out there. It was nerve wracking – I just hoped I would fit in and do my job,” said second half replacement Tadhg Beirne, as he thanked the Ireland fans for their incredible support throughout the game.
