Farrell Sets Scene For Ireland Players

Andy Farrell has kicked off his new head coach role with a busy 24 hour training camp that saw 45 players gather at the IRFU High Performance Centre.

The squad took time on Sunday evening to support the Focus Ireland ‘Christmas Choir’ campaign by singing and collecting on Grafton Street and College Green.

It’s a must that you help out at this time of year. Christmas is special for all of us and we’re lucky to be i a position where we can out there and give a little bit back.

Monday morning saw them on the pitch with Farrell and his coaching team setting the scene for what they want to see over the coming weeks and what players need to do make the Ireland squad for the Guinness Six Nations.

Finally there was time for a family Christmas party as players’ children got to visit the High Performance centre and meet Santa Claus.

We’re rugby players but we’re family people and this is for the families to see what we do and to stay connected.
