Elwood: We Got The Performance, Not The Result

Speaking after Connacht’s 27-16 Magners League loss to Ulster, head coach Eric Elwood said: “We knew we were going to be judged on this game. I think we got the performance, but not the result. We could have even got a losing bonus point at the end. Sport can be cruel – you don’t always get what you think you deserve.”
