Bonus Point Reward For Wolfhounds Away To Edinburgh

Coached by Neill Alcorn and captained by Hannah O’Connor, the Wolfhounds recovered from an early deficit to record a 27-17 bonus point win over Edinburgh Rugby at the Hive Stadium.

Unconverted tries from Sarah Delaney, Natasja Behan and Aoife Wafer cancelled out an early Emma Orr effort, as the Irish side ended a fast-paced first half with a 15-7 lead.

Brittany Hogan bagged the bonus point score and the all-action Wafer doubled her tally, before a late Edinburgh revival made it five tries to three in the end.

Alcorn’s second-placed charges are back in Scotland for next weekend’s third round of the Celtic Challenge, taking on Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 2.30pm – live on RugbyPass TV).
