The Team That Turned Up – 1973 Remembered

The Irish Embassy in London played host to the Ireland and England teams from the famous 1973 match to mark fifty years since the immortal team that ‘turned up’.

Members of both teams, officials from the IRFU and RFU, the Irish Ambassador and Minister Heather Humphries TD were all in attendance to mark the occacion and share memories of a day that is etched in Irish Rugby history.
