The British & Irish Lions came out on top against Australia in the opening match of the Test series, as tries from Sione Tuipulotu, Tom Curry, and Dan Sheehan steered them to a 27-19 win in Brisbane.
Scotland out-half Finn Russell contributed nine points from the tee, and replacement Marcus Smith kicked a clinching penalty late on, with player-of-the-match Tadhg Beirne, Jamison Gibson-Park, and Sheehan among the players to stand out.
