It was a rainy night in Bayonne as Ireland overcame a gritty Samoa in testing conditions at Stade Jeane Dauger. Second half tries from Player of the Match Conor Murray and Rob Herring helped Ireland to erase a 13-7 deficit, after Jimmy O’Brien’s early score, and beat a determined Samoa side by four points.
