Ireland secured a five try bonus point win and a record points haul against France with a dominant display at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille to kick off the Guinness Men’s Six Nations in style.

A player of the match performance from Championship debutant Joe McCarthy, tries from Jamison Gibson Park, Tadhg Beirne, Calvin Nash, Dan Sheehan, and Ronan Kelleher combined with a penalty and five conversions from Jack Crowley gave Ireland a 17-38 win.
