Ireland Training At The IRFU High Performance Centre

The Ireland squad trained at the IRFU High Performance centre today as they continue their Rugby World Cup preparations and build up to the match against Italy on August 10th.

Ireland kick off their Guinness Series against Six Nations rivals Italy before heading to Portugal for a warm weather training camp ahead of matches against England and Wales.

Today marks 50 days to go to the start of the Rugby World Cup but for the Ireland players all eyes are focused on Italy in Aviva Stadium next week.

Speaking about the game Ireland wing Jacob Stockdale said:

These block of four games, starting with Italy, are massively important for us. Everyone wants to play. Italy will be physical and they have threats all over the pitch.
