Ireland Run France Close In U-18 Men’s Six Nations Festival Opener

Brian Gleeson and Jacob Sheahan both touched down, and Jack Murphy and Sean Naughton kicked the other points between them, as the Ireland Under-18 Schools team took on France in Marcoussis.

Paul Barr’s youngsters fell to an eventual 28-23 defeat, but there were plenty of positives to take from their opening performance of the U-18 Men’s Six Nations Festival.

Captain Sam Berman and his team-mates will be back in action against Wales on Wednesday afternoon (kick-off 2.20pm local time/1.20pm Irish time).
